Best Way to Eat
The healthiest diet combines the dietary advise for optimizing each system.
It is important that before you eat, sit down and look at your food. It should look beautiful and colorful. take a moment to think of where it came from and to be thankful. Then eat slowly with a conscious effort to taste and enjoy each bite.
Enjoy
Eat at least four servings of vegetables a day and four of fruit. More is better
Eat lean sources of animal protein yoghurt, lean turkey and chicken,
When eating non animal sources of protein (nuts, dry beans) do not worry about the fat
Eat 30 grams of fiber every day
Cook with olive oil
Eat cold water fish every week
Eat fresh nuts every day (avoid old or rancid nuts)
Drink one glass of red wine a day if you wish
Drink green tea
When you eat sweets, have them after a meal, not alone
Avoid
White foods (bread, rice, potatoes) in favor of their more colorful relatives
Deep fried foods because deep frying creates toxins in the oil
High fat animal products (cheeses, meats) eggs are fine in moderation, no more than 2 per day
