Chronic Sinus Issues: Gentle Approach
A Gentle Approach To Chronic Sinus Issues:
When people have chronic sinus issues, Biofilms are usually involved. Biofilms are a thin layer of hard material that is made by bacteria and yeasts working together with materials from your body. When biofilms are involved antibiotics will only help temporarily. The ENT approach of destroying sinus tissues is harsh and usually results in good, but short-term benefits.
Start by breaking up Biofilms with a Xylitol nasal spray. The brand I know of is XLear.2 sprays in Each Nostril 2 times per day.
Address infection: Citrus Nasal Spray such as you can get from Microbalance Health Products ( or similar) One spray into each nostril twice daily: The citrus can help with both fungal and bacterial infections.
Colloidal Silver also safely addresses bacterial and fungal infections. One brand is Argentin 23. 2 sprays twice daily
Bactroban ointment, apply enough to coat your nostrils twice daily. This is an antibiotic and requires a prescription. But you can get started without it.
To successfully heal chronic sinus issues, you will need to be in an environment free of compounds you are allergic to, and especially free of mold. An air purifier or nasal HEPA filters is a good start.
